The Paynesville Fire Dept and the Stearns County sheriff's office were dispatched to a barn fire on Co. Rd. 33, five miles North of Paynesville in Zion TWP. A neighbor reported the fire and woke up the homeowner, Scott Klehr. Klehr said there was approximately $60,000 worth of rabbits, $8,000 worth of horse saddles and harnesses, a $2500 Manure spreader, and an unknown amount of tools and equipment. The 96 FT By 50ft shed was a complete loss. The cause of the fire is unknown. |
