Representative Jim Knoblach has authored a bill to provide flood relief funding throughout Minnesota. It passed the House Monday with bipartisan approval. The bill provides $74 million, with $17 million in state funding to match more than $50 million in federal funding for recovery efforts in response to last summer’s flooding. The assistance will be directed to 47 Minnesota counties and three Indian reservations. The bill is now in the hands of Governor Dayton.
